Daniela C. Velez is a communications and policy professional committed to empowering underserved communities through advocacy, storytelling, and strategic engagement. She currently serves as a Communication Specialist for Assemblywoman Carmen T. Morales, where she manages press, digital strategy, and messaging aligned with legislative goals, while supporting the Latino Legislative Caucus.

Daniela also leads as Innovation Hub Manager at the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of NJ, designing and implementing technical education and workforce development programs for small businesses and entrepreneurs across the state. In this role, she builds partnerships with elected officials, corporate leaders, and educational institutions to expand economic opportunities.

With prior experience in labor organizing, municipal government, and immigrant rights advocacy, Daniela is a recognized leader who bridges policy and public outreach. A graduate of Rutgers University from Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy University, Daniela has been recognized as one of FRNJ’s Top 30 Under 35 Latino Leaders and serves on multiple boards advancing equity and entrepreneurship. She is passionate about empowering underrepresented communities through impactful storytelling and policy engagement.
